2 Arrested In Severn Gas Station Burglary

SEVERN, Md. (WJZ)— Two people are in police custody after a burglary at a Hess gas station in Anne Arundel County.

It happened early Saturday morning at around 3:27 a.m. on Annapolis Road in Severn.

Police say 35-year-old Lionel Mosley Eades, of Washington, D.C., attempted to hide inside the gas station.

He then tried to flee on foot and was captured and Tasered.

Police say 44-year-old Shirley Donnalee Bromfield, of Florida, was located nearby with a loaded handgun in her possession and appeared to be acting as a lookout.

Eades was charged with burglary, destruction of property, theft and resisting arrest.

Bromfield was charged with burglary and multiple handgun violations.

Property from the business was recovered from Eades, who was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for treatment after the Taser deployment.
