Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun joined Mark Zinno tonight to talk some Orioles baseball.

First off, Mark asked Dan his opinion on the Fransisco Rodriguez trade.
“Will he fit in? He’s had some problems in the past when he wasn’t closing and he’s had some run ins with some coaches in the past. Will he fit in?”

Then Dan talked about the Orioles giving up Nick Delmonico to get K-Rod and if they gave up too much.

“This guy is a legitimate prospect. But who knows what he’s going to become? And you got a guy that really stabilizes the bullpen.

Dan then talked about Henry Urutia being called up and if he is here to stay.

“He was never going to be called up as a fifth outfielder, he’s being as a designated hitter. Things have opened up for him to be the everyday designated hitter.”
