Man Arrested After 2 Are Shot At Convenience Store
WALDORF, Md. (AP) -- The Charles County Sheriff's Office says a man has been charged with assault after two men were shot at a convenience store in Waldorf.
Police say two men were arguing on Aug. 23 near the gas pumps at the Dash-In on Smallwood Drive West. Police say one man fired shots as he was pulling away, hitting the driver he was arguing with and a man walking into the store. Both were treated at a hospital.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Cor Maury Bobo-Fitzgerald of Waldorf, who surrendered to police the next day.
Bobo-Fitzgerald, 19, is being held on $1 million bond.
