WEATHER BLOG: Blame It On The Rain

The radar loop suggests that we will remain in a pretty constant rainfall pattern for the next several hours with some embedded pockets of heavier rainfall.

Another half inch to inch is not out of the question for Friday afternoon. Damp to wet weather continues through much of the weekend as well.

Some rain totals as of 10 a.m.:

Science center 3.02", Andrews 1.71", Reagan National 2.75", York 4.97", Lancaster 4.18", Easton 1.22", Patuxent 3.40" and Salisbury 2.16".

Pockets of rain throughout the day Thursday and into Friday were heavy enough to bring rainfall totals that exceeded 2 inches across parts of the Greater Baltimore Area.

In fact, up in Lancaster and York, Pa. -- totals were even greater, or between three and four inches!

Temperatures will be mostly in the lower and middle 60s Friday, and Saturday will be in a similar range.
