GREENBELT, Md. (AP) — Two movie theaters in Prince George’s County are airing public service announcements aimed at promoting safe sexual behavior.

The ads are running for 14 weeks at the movie theater at the Greenbelt mall and the Phoenix Big Cinemas Marlow 6 Theatre In Temple Hills.

The commercials feature Tray Chaney, a Prince George’s native and actor who appeared in the HBO series, “The Wire.” He’s scheduled to appear at a Nov. 16 promotion event at the Marlow 6 theater in Temple Hills.

The county health officer says Prince George’s ranks second in the state of Maryland for HIV cases and sexually transmitted diseases.
