ASPEN HILL, Md. (AP) — Montgomery County Police say a man was killed during a struggle with three other men who forced their way into a home.

It happened about 10:50 p.m. Wednesday in Aspen Hill. Police say three men knocked on the front door and forced their way inside when the door was opened.

Police say the three intruders, all armed with handguns, confronted three men in the home. A struggle ensued, and Alexander Benson Buie, 34, was shot. The suspects fled.

Buie was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
