Woman Charged With Stealing From Md. Motel

DELMAR, Md. (AP) -- The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says a 42-year-old woman has been charged for stealing more than $1,000 from the Delmar motel where she worked.

Officials say an investigation that began last week into thefts from the motel on Ocean Highway found that Tressa Lynn Sample took two night deposits totaling more than $1,000. Officials also say Sample took property from the motel and sold it at a local pawn store.

Sample was charged with theft over $1,000 and released on her personal recognizance.
