TOWSON, Md. (AP) — Jerrelle Benimon scored 20 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead Towson to a 60-53 victory over UNC-Wilmington Saturday.

Four McGlynn had 11 points and three assists for the Tigers (10-6, 1-0 Colonial Athletic Association). Timajh Parker-Rivera and Marcus Damas each added eight points. Towson overcame an early six-point deficit to go up by nine midway through the first period and led 26-24 at the break. The Seahawks tied it up 30-30 early in the second before the Tigers mounted a 15-8 run to retake the lead 45-38 with 8:21 left to play.
