After Jervon Pressley’s three-point play pulled Hampton (8-10, 3-2) within 51-49 nearly 8 minutes into the second half, the Bears used a 15-5 run to open up a 12-point lead with 6:58 to play. Du’Vaughn Maxwell scored six points, and Brian Darden four, as Hampton used a 12-4 spurt to pull within 70-66 with 36 seconds to play.
