WEATHER BLOG: Warmer Weather Coming
Hi, all!
Don't tell the boss but I am actually writing this blog during the "Morning Edition." We started early this day, 4:30 a.m., and for good reason. But right now at 5:00 a.m. this winter "event" is, for the most part, done with little impact.
Overnight a light snowfall of a bit over an inch, area wide, ended with a little sleet. (Don't ya just love it when a forecast comes together?) Roads generally stayed pretty drivable. Now with milder air already pressing up the "95 corridor" (as of 5 a.m. we are 5 degrees warmer than this time Monday), a temperature break we REALLY need is here!
Time to quote ESPN's Stuart Scott, "BOO-YEAH!"
Tuesday 46, Wednesday 50, Thursday 48, Friday 60, Saturday 55, Sunday 48! The normals are, (High/Low 46/27).
Is winter's wrath over? Not yet. But the Sun is higher and warmer in the sky. The days are getting longer, and soon we will be complaining about allergies. BRING IT!
Wait, I am almost on the air...gotta run! I leave you with 5 words spoken Monday in Owings Mills, Md. by a good friend of the "Morning Edition," Terrell Suggs:
"Sizzle is here for life."
Raven Nation does that not warm you up? #55. Yep, "Ball so hard!"
Have a good day and be safe! (Oh yeah, find them smiles!)
