BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Former Ravens linebacker Bart Scott has been named a studio analyst for CBS’ NFL pregame show, “The NFL Today.”

Scott will join James Brown, Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason and Tony Gonzalez.

Scott joined CBS Sports in August 2013 serving as a studio analyst during the 2013 NFL season for CBS Sports Network’s Sunday football studio program, “That Other Pregame Show.” Before joining CBS Sports, Scott’s NFL career spanned 11 years playing with the Baltimore Ravens (2002-08) and New York Jets (2009-12).

In 2006, he was a Pro Bowl selection and earned All Pro honors.

In addition to “The NFL Today,” Scott will expand his role at CBS providing analysis across multiple platforms, contributing to “Inside the NFL” on Showtime and appearing in weekly segments on “The Other Pregame Show.”
