PRINCESS ANNE, Md. (AP) — Troy Snyder and Hakeem Baxter each scored 30 points in leading Maryland-Eastern Shore to an 84-70 victory over Delaware State on Thursday night in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference regular-season finale.
Baxter’s total was a career high for the freshman while Snyder, a senior who had a career high of 34 on Feb. 15 against Howard, went over 20 points for the eighth consecutive game for the Hawks (6-23, 4-12). Both teams shot over 50 percent but the Hawks scored 11 points on free throws.
