Police: 16-Year-Old Under Influence Of Alcohol Brings Gun To School
HARWOOD, Md. (WJZ) -- A shocking find on Anne Arundel County school grounds.
A teacher first notified administrators at Southern High School that a student appeared to be drunk.
School resource officers eventually searched the 16-year-old's truck, which was parked on campus.
They found a 12-gauge shotgun, ammunition and a bottle of alcohol inside.
Police say there is no indication the student made any threats against anyone at the school.
He now faces disciplinary sanctions as well as criminal charges.
