Former Maryland basketball coach Gary Williams joined Glenn and Bob on the Sports Rehab to discuss various issues facing the college game . Williams, who won 668 games in his coaching career, was recently nominated for the Basketball Hall of Fame.
“To be nominated kind of came out of the blue. It still remains to be seen if I get in but its a special honor just to be nominated.” When asked about having success in the NCAA Tournament, Williams said ” If you want to have success in the tournament, you have to have guards that can handle end of clock situations.”
Coach Williams led the Terps to the 2002 National Championship.
