BALTIMORE (WJZ) — An overnight fire claimed a life on Caton Avenue.

Firefighters say flames broke out just before 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 500-block of South Caton Avenue.

When crews arrived, they found heavy fire on the second and third floor of a three-story duplex.

Once the fire was out, firefighters searched the building and found a body.

The name of the victim is not being released until next of kin are notified.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
