Trademark Law Expert Ned Himmelrich On The Redskins Name Change Possibility

Ned Himmelrich is the Head of the Intellectual Property and Technology department at Gordon Feinblatt, and an expert in trademark law.

Ned joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Redskins recent trademark problem and the court ruling that caused it.

Ned broke down the ruling saying that "it does not mean a lot" and not nearly as much as everybody thinks. "It means you have fewer bullets to shoot at people infringing" is how Ned described what it means to Daniel Snyder. When asked if this means that you can now print the Redskins logo and profit from that without the fear of litigation Ned cautioned everyone saying "They can still sue you."
