WASHINGTON (AP) — Metro will open two hours early Sunday to help riders traveling to the Marine Corps Marathon.

Metro says riders traveling on the orange, silver, blue, yellow and green lines will find trains operating at regular weekend intervals. The Greenbelt station on the green line will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, however. And on Saturday at the orange line’s Landover and New Carrollton stations only, trains will arrive and depart every 20 to 25 minutes during the day.READ MORE: Ovechkin Scores 27th Goal, Capitals Beat Jets In Overtime
On the red line, trains will operate every 24 minutes from 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday. There will be additional trains between Medical Center and NoMa-Gallaudet on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.MORE NEWS: Michigan Gets First Win In A Month, Slams Maryland 83-64
