North Carolina A&T Routs Morgan State 45-0

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) -- Kwashaun Quick threw for 249 yards and four touchdowns Saturday and North Carolina A&T routed Morgan State 45-0 to claim first place in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

Tarik Cohen scored on a 16-yard run, Marquell Cartwright had a 3-yard TD run, and the Aggies (8-2, 5-1) outgained Morgan State 393-226.

Quick gained 57 yards on 17 carries and was 22-of-29 passing with TD strikes of 3 and 10 yards to Denzel Keyes, 47 yards to Cartwright and 26 yards to Xavier Griffin.

The Aggies defense forced three turnovers and held Herb Walker Jr., the conference's only 1,000-yard rusher with 131.1 yards per game, to just 10 yards in eight carries.

D'Vonte Grant picked off a two passes by Robert Council, both of which the Aggies converted into touchdowns.

Council gained 57 yards in 10 carries for Morgan State and was 3 for 9 for 30 yards passing.
