Sports Rehab: Len Elmore talking Maryland Basketball and the passing of Dean Smith

Former Maryland basketball star and current ESPN analyst Len Elmore joined Sports Rehab to talk about the legacy of the late North Carolina coach Dean Smith and talk about the current squad at Maryland.

Len Elmore is one of the all time greats in the history of Maryland Terrapin basketball. He still is the career leader in rebounding and is also a member on the ACC's 50th anniversary team. Elmore was voted All-ACC three times and was also voted an All American in 1974. During his time in College Park, the Terps main competition in the ACC was NC State and North Carolina who was coached by Dean Smith. The legendary North Carolina coach passed away earlier this week at the age of 83. When asked about Dean Smith, Elmore replied. "He was more than just a basketball coach. He was a tough guy and a competitor and that's what I'll remember."
