SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) -- A Washington, D.C. woman has been killed after being hit by a suspected drunk driver as she waited near a bus stop.

Montgomery County Police say 49-year-old Vanessa Dixon was standing near a bus stop in the White Oak area when a driver crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic and hit her around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday.
