ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WJZ) — A Howard County caregiver is charged with abusing a 93-year-old Alzheimer’s patient.

Christina Renee Randall, 26, is charged with second-degree assault and abuse of a vulnerable adult.

Family members of the 93-year-old victim installed a camera in his room at Lighthouse Senior Living in Ellicott City after becoming concerned for his well-being.

After observing what appeared to be abuse on the video, they turned the footage over to police.
