Molly Shattuck Court Date Postponed

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A wealthy Baltimore socialite and former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader won't be in a Delaware court next week facing rape charges.

Although Molly Shattuck was supposed to appear in court on March 18 for a final case review, with a trial beginning March 23 -- a continuance was issued in her case.

Delaware State Police charged Shattuck with third-degree rape, part of a 9-count indictment that allege she and an inappropriate, sexual relationship with her son's 15-year-old classmate that started when she began commenting on his Instagram photos.

The investigation lead to a search of her multi-million dollar Roland park mansion, where police were looking for her underwear that matched what the teen described from their encounter.

Shattuck gained fame for being the oldest Ravens cheerleader.

The author, mother and reality show star then developed her own wholesome, healthy living brand.

Shattuck is the estranged wife of business executive Mayo Shattuck -- a Fortune 500 executive -- who is chairman of Exelon, which owns BGE.

No new dates have been issued for the trial.
