Baltimore Blast's Pat Healey Headbutted After Win

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ-FM) -- A Baltimore Blast player was headbutted during a Major Arena Soccer League playoff game on the road over the weekend.
Pat Healey, the team's captain and son of team manager Kevin Healey, was headbutted by Missouri Comets defender Andre Braithwaite after the Blast won.
The Missouri Comets tweeted Braithwaite had been released following the incident:
The Comets organization announces that Andre Braithwaite has been released from the team effective immediately.

The Baltimore Blast posted on their Facebook page:
"Thank you to the countless number of fans that have texted, emailed and messaged about Pat Healey and asking for an update after the viscous assault from the Comets player after the game. He is fine. He received stitches and will begin preparing tomorrow for Monterrey in the finals Friday."
