Baltimore Police: Officer Fires At Man Who Rammed Patrol Car

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore police say an officer fired at a man who struck a marked patrol car with his vehicle after a traffic stop.

Police say the man was not injured by gunfire, and no officers were injured. The man was taken into custody.

Police say officers tried to pull over the car shortly before 9 p.m. Friday in west Baltimore. Police say the man refused to stop and rammed the police car in a parking lot. The officer fired his service weapon as officers were trying to arrest the driver.
