Metro: Man Stabbed In Fight On Bus In Silver Spring
SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a man has been stabbed on a Metrobus in Silver Spring during a fight.
Metro spokesman Dan Stessel said the 20-year-old man and a girl were riding the No. 70 bus on East-West Highway near Blair Mill Road on Sunday afternoon when they began to fight.
Stessel says the man began attacking the girl and she stabbed him in the side. He says the man was taken to a hospital for evaluation and the girl was taken to a hospital with a minor hand injury.
Stessel says the man and girl were in custody, but the incident is still under investigation and police have not filed charges.
