Armen Keteyian On A Coaching Legacy Falsely Tarnished At Duke
Armen Keteyian is a television journalist who is currently the lead analyst on "60 Minutes Sports" on the Showtime network.
Armen joined Ed and Steve to talk about his piece on the Duke Lacrosse scandal from a few years ago.
Armen started off by talking about Mike Pressler the former Head Coach of Duke lacrosse and what happened to him saying "he kind of got lost in the scandal which was a lie, he was the reigning coach of the year when things blew up in Durham bringing in race, sex, and politics and privilege...he stood by his players from the start and paid a dear price for it." Armen also talked about how the prosecutor played on all the racial issues in the area and ignored evidence that didn't support his narrative, and the rush to judgement and how it destroyed Mike Pressler's life at the time.
