WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ)—Carroll Hospital is raising awareness of the importance and benefits of sleep by hosting a Sleep Awareness Day celebration.

The event kicks off on May 6, from 4 to 7 p.m in the Shauck Auditorium located in the hospital’s new East Pavilion at 291 Stoner Avenue.

Officials say there will be a sleep fair, featuring exhibitors displaying the latest equipment to treate sleep apnea and providing information on the condition and other health-related issues.

Attendees will also have the chance to win fun prizes, including a Fitbit!
