Former MLB Umpire Al Clark On Payback Pitches In Baseball

Al Clark is a former MLB umpire who went from prisoner to published author.

Al joined Ed and Steve to talk about payback pitches in baseball.

Al started off by talking about Ubaldo Jimenez being ejected Friday night and if he should have been saying "I don't want to second guess the umpire because I wasn't there...it is all about game control, umpires are charged with making sure the game flows well and nothing happens down the road." Al also talked about umpires being clued in to situations between teams saying "umpires get memos all the time from the commissioner's office about things that have gone on between the two clubs they are umpiring." Al also expressed his personal views on throwing at batters saying "it's a pretty cowardly act."
