EDGEWOOD, Md. (AP) — Three pedestrians, including two children, have been taken to area hospitals after being struck by a vehicle in Edgewood.

Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company says the pedestrians were hit on Route 40 early Wednesday afternoon.

The Baltimore Sun reports a Maryland State Police Medevac helicopter was being used to transport one or more of the victims.
