Hundreds Raise Funds For Cancer Research At Md. Half Marathon & 5K
BALTIMORE (WJZ)--As part of WJZ's continuing community commitment-- hundreds of runners including our very own sports director Mark Viviano participated in the 7th Annual Md. Half Marathon & 5K.
The event raises funds for cancer research for the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenbaum Cancer Center.
A number of cancer survivors and members of their families take part in the half marathon each year, along with doctors, nurses and other members of the cancer center staff.
