
WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ)—A two-car crash left one man dead on Sunday afternoon in Carroll County.
The accident happened just before 3:00 p.m. on Rt. 32 (Sykesville Road) north of Lakeland Drive in Finksburg.
READ MORE: Catherine Pugh Filling-In As Host Of Baltimore Radio ShowAccording to state police, a 67-year-old woman was traveling south on Sykesville Road in her 2005 Nissan Altima, when she failed to negotiate a curve. Police say the Nissan then crossed the center line and struck a 2001 Ford Ranger head-on.
READ MORE: Maryland Weather: Alert Day, Severe Afternoon ThunderstormsAs a result of the crash, a 78-year-old passenger inside the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene. Police identify him as Boris Guozovsky, of Eldersburg.
Both driver inside the Nissan and Altima and Ford Ranger were flown to Shock Trauma where they remain in critical condition.
