Craig Laughlin is the color commentator for Capitals game broadcasts on Comcast Sportsnet.

Craig joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Stanley Cup Final between Chicago and Tampa Bay.

Craig started off by talking about what is the deal with Ben Bishop’s injury and if Vasilevskiy can win a cup for the Lightning saying “it’s probably a groin or something, and if you have a bad groin injury and are a butterfly goalie you’ll miss time with that type of injury…Vasilevskiy wasn’t really tested I thought Tampa Bay dominated and Chicago were fortunate to win that game last night” As for whether or not the Hawks defenseman are tired because of the high ice time for their top four Craig said “I think so I think the way they play Duncan Keith and Seabrook it could be catching up to them…I think they’re trying to spread it around after those two and the two day layoff is in favor of the Hawks.” Craig also talked about the coaching match-up in the Final and how the experience is in Quenneville’s favor but Jon Cooper is a coach of the future.
