Woman's Purse Snatched Outside Grocery
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- A woman reported her purse was snatched outside a Giant in Glen Burnie Saturday morning.
Anne Arundel County Police responded to the grocery store at 7940 Crain Highway around 11:22 a.m. for a report of a robbery.
The victim told officers that she was walking to her vehcile after she finished shopping when an unknown man ran up from behind her and grabbed her purse.
The man then fled behind the grocery store and into the neighborhood.
Although officers searched the area, they were unable to find the suspect.
Police say the man was 20 to 30 years old, average build, wearing khaki shorts and a black tank top.
