BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A Baltimore man has been federally charged with arson in connection to the Baltimore riots in April.

According to authorities, 21-year-old Darius Stewart, of Baltimore, was arrested on September 28, 2015, on unrelated charges.

On the night on April 27, 2015, a surveillance camera recorded a man wearing camouflage pants and a dark jacket intentionally setting multiple fires within the liquor store located in the 2200 block of West North Avenue.

Authorities say Darius Stewart was later identified after ATF issued a reward posted with an image from the surveillance video.

Stewart faces a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum of 20 years if convicted.

Authorities say on the night of the incident, one victim was trapped and seriously injured inside the store, and another escaped with minor injuries.

Stewart is scheduled to make a court appearance on Friday in Baltimore
