Steve joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Ravens loss to the 49ers.
Steve asked Steve about his thoughts on the performance of the Ravens secondary against the 49ers. Steve noted that the secondary again looked very bad, “it was pretty bad. Shareece Wright was at the forefront of it. The pass defense as a whole gave up way too many big plays. These big plays all happened for different reasons, so there isn’t that one thing you can point to.”
Ed asked Steve about another positive performance of nose tackle Brandon Williams. Steve was once again very impressed with the play of Williams saying, “he’s so stout at the nose. He just doesn’t get moved. When Williams gets doubled he doesn’t get moved, and when he’s single teamed he make plays. He’s been one of the best nose tackles in the league this year.”
Steve went on to discuss Joe Flacco’s performances this season and his continued negative grades, and the grades for the Raven’s special teams led by punter Sam Koch, which continues to be impressive
