Head coach of the Maryland Women’s Basketball team Brenda Frese joined us fresh off a 110-77 win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Senior Night which clinched, at the very least, a share of the Big Ten regular season championship.

Coach talked about how proud she is of her team fighting back in the standings and keeping their spirits high even when their play on the court wasn’t to the level they’d like to see. Brenda raved about the talent that Minnesota guard Rachel Banham possesses, she also downplayed the great job her team did on defense keeping Banham under her season average. As stated, this was Senior Night for the Terps and Coach talked about some of her departing players, including Tierney Pfirman. We also look forward to the Big Ten and National tournaments and the challenges that lie ahead for Coach Frese and her squad.
