3 Things Ravens Need Going Into Free Agency

Norris and Davis spoke with John Eisenberg Of Baltimore Ravens.com ahead of the NFL Free Agency deadline and what the Ravens need going into the 2016 season.

Yesterday, the Ravens made another pre-negotiating period move and signed tight end Ben Watson. Eisenberg was surprised with this choice but said with Boyle suspended and Pitta out, "I think it became an area of need. Joe needs weapons, he needs new targets and there's one right there."

John Eisenberg recently listed three things the Ravens need to do moving forward. Now that they've invested so much in Flacco, the Ravens need to put him in the best possible position to succeed. Number one, is to make sure Joe Flacco is protected. The second thing is Flacco will need new targets, more specifically, a new receiver. Thirdly, a strong defensive line is absolutely needed.

Davis said according to a website that checks in on the salary cap money, the Baltimore Ravens have the fewest amount of dollars to spend in free agency. As of today at 4 p.m., the Ravens will be going through free agency with just $3 million dollars. To which Eisenberg said, "It was on this particular day last year that Haloti Ngata got traded. Today is a day where some very interesting things could happen."

Overall, in looking at the players that were recently cut, who is coming back and what they need to get, Eisenberg said, "the Ravens want to get younger and faster on defense."

So, the real question is what to do with the left tackle position. What do you think the Ravens will do going into free agency?
