BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Ravens signed RB Trent Richardson this morning just before the start of the offseason workout program.

Richardson spent last year out of the NFL after being the No. 3 overall pick of the Cleveland Browns in the 2012 NFL Draft. Two games into his second season, the Browns traded him to the the Colts. Richardson spent two years there before becoming a free agent in 2015. He signed with the Raiders that offseason but didn’t make roster out of training camp.

With players like Justin Forsett, Buck Allen,Terrance West and Lorenzo Taliaferro, already on the team, Richardson will have to prove himself to the Ravens to guarantee a spot on the 53-man roster come September.
