WILMINGTON, Del. (WJZ) — In Delaware, three teens have been charged in connection with the death of a high school student.

Cell phone video showed the beating of Amy Joyner-Francis on April 21 in a bathroom inside Howard High School of Technology.

One of the teens in the video is charged with criminally negligent homicide. The other two are charged with criminal conspiracy because they didn’t hit Joyner-Francis.

An autopsy revealed Joyner-Francis died as a result of a pre-existing heart condition but that the cardiac incident would not have occurred if she had not been assaulted.
