BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) — A driver was taken to the hospital after a rollover single-car crash in Cockeysville Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

Fire crews were called to the scene, located near where Cranbrook and East Padonia Roads meet, after 4:30 p.m., according to the Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company.

The driver hit a tree, according to police, causing the car to overturn on its side.

First responders had to free the driver, who was trapped inside the wreck, authorities said.

The driver was taken to the hospital. At last check, the extent of the driver’s injuries were not known.
