Steve Melewski On How To Fix The Orioles Pitching Staff
Steve Melewski, an analyst and blogger for MASN Sports who covers the Orioles, joined Ed and Steve to talk about possible changes the Orioles can make to fix their pitching problems.
Steve started out by talking about how to fix the Orioles offensive woes saying, "well for the offense it's just sending the same guys out here because those guys have been good this year." When asked about pitching options available to improve the O's pitching staff Steve said, "you see guys like Rich Hill, I've said it a thousand times, I don't think there is a great top of the rotation pitcher who is going to come in and save the day."
As for whether or not the Orioles have a guy in their farm system who could come in and get a chance Steve said, "I don't know if they have the guy right now."
Steve also talked about the constant suspicion of PED use in major league baseball but more so on the pitching side.
