Adam Jones started our Wednesday morning off with a laugh as he joined Norris and Long. The guys cracked jokes about food, feet and Jerry Coleman, but ultimately got down to the baseball talk.
Adam started off by talking about his offensive breakthrough and what caused it saying, “it’s part of the game you have to go through it to get to it…it’s something that you’ve done and you’ve done. I’m not a rookie, I’m a vet and I’ll figure it out like I always do.”
As for his approach at the plate lately Adam said, “I’m going up there and I’m letting it fly…the first pitch of the game, it’s no secret I’m going after it, why wouldn’t I?”
Dylan Bundy pitched a great game last night and Adam talked about what he’s seen from Bundy saying, “the thing I’ve told him and everyone else has to have told him I’m sure was just go compete…last night the ball was coming out hot and the change-up was to.”
Adam also talked about the atmosphere in Toronto, his involvement in the local community and his interaction with fans concerning culinary issues at stadiums.
