BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore’s “number one trigger-puller,” Montana Barronette, 21, has been arrested, according to Police Commissioner Kevin Davis.

He was arrested over the weekend and charged with first-degree murder, handgun violations and “other related charges.”

He’s “an absolute poster child for what a repeat offender is in Baltimore City,” Davis said.

Police say he’s a Black Guerilla Family member and has been linked to at least a dozen murders, including the death of Alfonso Williams.

On May 3, 2013, police say a man, now identified as Barronette walked up to Williams on West Lafayette Avenue and shot him over and over again.

Barronette frequented the areas of Sandtown-Winchester, Pedestal Gardens and Pennsylvania Avenue, and “terrorized those communities,” according to Davis.

“We are still following up on numerous, numerous cases that we believe Barronette is responsible for. Remember his name. You’ll hear it again very soon.”

Police were able to bring charges against him as part of the city’s “War Room” strategy, which targets repeat violent offenders.

  1. How silly. Oh, yeah now all our problems are solved. (Seems like you’re trying to send out a “security blanket” and “false sense of security”. I think boys like him are probably “a dime a dozen”.
