BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Baltimore Ravens have elevated TE Daniel Brown from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Brown was signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2015. After showing promising play throughout the pre-season he was ultimately retained by the team and assigned to the practice team.

Last season, Brown was activated to the roster after the Ravens had experienced season-ending injuries to Steve Smith Sr., Michael Campanaro, Breshad Perriman, Cam Worthy, and Darren Waller. Brown was released by the Ravens on September 3, 2016, but the next day, was signed to the Ravens’ practice squad.
