'Friday Noon Puppy' Reunited With Family After WJZ Appearance

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A lost pup is homeward bound, thanks to a little TV time on WJZ.

Shortly after "Lolly" appeared on WJZ at noon on Friday, the Maryland SPCA received a call from his owner.

As it turns out, the four-year-old Yorkie, whose real name is Shug, had been missing since Friday, Sept. 30.

His family saw Shug on TV, and came to the shelter with vet records and photos. They even brought him a sweater in case he was cold.

Needless to say, Shug was super excited to see his humans. He went home neutered and microchipped, with a shiny new ID tag.
