BPD: Mother Of 7, One Of Her Daughters 'Vanished Without A Trace'

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Police say the disappearance of a mother and daughter who have been missing since earlier this month is suspicious in nature.

A friend of the family reported the disappearance of Joanna Antionette Clark, 33, and her daughter Shariece Nicole Clark, 15, on that day.

They live in the 2800 block of Round Road and were last seen on Feb. 4, Shariece at 3 p.m. and Joanna at 11:15 p.m.

Joanna Clark, who works at Goetze's Candy, has six other children between the ages of 2 and 10 who were left with a caregiver.

This is odd behavior for her, according to loved ones. She has never previously been reported missing.

And Shariece, who was active on social media previously, has not posted since her disappearance.

"All of the communication ceases on the 4th of February," according to BPD spokesman T.J. Smith.

Shariece attends Dr. Carter Godwin Woodson Elementary/Middle School.

While there is no evidence of a crime, Smith says, the disappearance is considered suspicious.

The mother is described as 5-foot-3 and 140 pounds.

If you have information about them, call 443-902-4824.
