Baltimore County Police Communicating With 'Person In Crisis' In Cockeysville

TIMONIUM, Md. (WJZ) — Baltimore County police are communicating with a person in crisis in the 100 block of Industry Lane, in the parking lot of the Home Depot near the areas of Cockeysville and Timonium, Md.

UPDATE: The situation resolved peacefully, according to police. The man was taken into custody peacefully at around 3 a.m.

Police got a call at around 3 p.m. Friday afternoon regarding someone they described as a "person in crisis".

Police said they found the individual parked inside a vehicle in front of the Home Depot.

They say people are still inside the Home Depot, and are requesting they stay there until the situation is over.

The individual is considered to be possibly armed.

No one has been hurt.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
