Air-Conditioning Issues Close 2 Baltimore City Schools Early
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Air-conditioning issues close two Baltimore City schools Monday.
It was already 80 degrees by 9 a.m. with July-like temperatures in Baltimore.
"Due to air-conditioning problems, the following schools will close early today, Monday, May 20: Monarch Academy, dismissing at 12:30 p.m. and Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women, dismissing at 12:50 p.m. for the upper school and 1:15 p.m. for the middle school," the city schools tweeted.
