MARC Brunswick Line Disrupted After Cocoa Powder Fire

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A reported cocoa powder fire on a freight train caused disruptions to the MARC Brunswick Line service Tuesday.

As of around 7:30 a.m. the fire department released one of the tracks for trains to travel at a reduced speed.

Montgomery County Police said a freight storage container containing cocoa powder was found smoldering.

That container was relocated to a side track and the rest of the train was allowed to continue on.
