Hogan Offers State Support To California Communities Affected By Powerful Earthquake

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has offered the state's support to the southern California communities rocked by a powerful earthquake Thursday.

The governor tweeted Friday morning that he had reached out to his counterpart, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, and offered "any and all support that Maryland can provide."

In a subsequent tweet, Hogan said he is thinking of the families affected and is grateful for the first responders who helped those in need.
